米兰高薪后卫梅克斯今天在接受《晚邮报》采访时表示：“我和米兰俱乐部之间已经开始为续约进行了谈判，但是这些接触都还没有太深入。在任何情况下，我都不愿意在今年夏天的时候离开。钱并不是我所考虑的问题，即使我现在的这份合同真的很诱人。一直以来，不管此前我在欧塞尔或是在罗马，又或者是现在的米兰，我都一直很尊重自己的每一份合同直到截止日。我会用职业的精神来要求自己，直到为俱乐部效力的最后一天”。
在采访中法国后卫梅克斯还谈到了他与米兰主教练因扎吉的关系：“在赛季初我被排除在了出战名单之外，只是在Tim杯上获得过机会，后来我还和主教练详细谈过，我很难接受这种局面。在随后的几个星期里，尽管我仍然没有得到出场机会，但是主教练把我作为一个例子告诉给其他人，他说在我这个年龄和我的职业生涯里，我一直都在为整个团队而奋斗。这样的尊重让我得到了一些动力，即便是我曾痛苦地留在了家里”。

现在我的目标就是打那些诋毁我或者觉得我完蛋了的人的脸。
你如果能在球场上展现出你的价值，那管理层就会去扪心自问他们的做法到底对不对。
