2014年4月6日，英超2013-14 赛季第33轮，利物浦客場征战西汉姆联，杰拉德打进两个点球，帮助利物浦赢下比赛再登积分榜榜首，完成利物浦赛季 9 连胜（2014 ）。于此同时，杰拉德个人在利物浦队史上写下了进球数 173 球的纪录，已经超越国王达格立什的 172 球成为队史第 6 进球王，预期下赛季将可挑战第 5 进球王福勒的 183 球。。。。。。
