由于莫斯科中央陆军球迷在球队客场对阵罗马的比赛中喊出种族歧视口号，欧足联已下令对其接下来的三场欧冠主场比赛实行不准球迷进场的严厉处罚。这意味着曼城的下一场欧冠比赛将在空无一人看台的中央陆军主场进行。
除了不准球迷现场观看主场比赛，欧足联还禁止中央陆军球迷去现场观看另外两场客场比赛。
本赛季还未在欧冠中取得一胜的曼城将在10月21号作客莫斯科。值得一提的是，上赛季中央陆军就曾受到过主场闭门比赛的处罚，而当时就是因为有球迷在球队与曼城的比赛中种族歧视亚亚-图雷。
欧足联在该处罚决定的声明中表示：“欧足联对赛场内的球员和球迷都采取种族主义歧视采取零容忍的政策。任何带有种族歧视行为的动作都将被视为对纪律规则的严重漠视，将对此处以最为严厉的处罚。”
中央陆军已经完成了一场主场闭门的欧冠比赛。9月30日在对阵拜仁时，他们的比赛就是在空无一名球迷的球场中进行。最终球队0-1不敌对手。

客场也有几千张球票收入啊。没观众的比赛啥气氛，连带的电视转播费不知道会不会少。
