In January 2012, Chelsea signed Omeruo from Liège and immediately loaned him out to Eredivisie club ADO Den Haag.[5][6] In May 2014 Nigeria World Cup-bound Omeruo agreed a new three-year contract with Chelsea.[7]
Loan to ADO Den Haag

Loan to Middlesbrough
On 7 January 2014, Omeruo joined Middlesbrough on loan until the end of the 2013–14 season.[10]

Loan to Vitesse
He was imminently loaned to Dutch club Vitesse, for the rest of the 2013-14 season.[5] He played 30 games for Vitesse and scored 5 goals as Vitesse finished 6th in the league and qualified to the play offs.
Loan to Everton
On 13 August 2014, Atsu joined Everton on loan until the end of the 2014–15 season.[6] Atsu made his first appearance for The Toffees coming on as an 81st minute substitute in a 2-2 draw with Arsenal.
After his arrival at Chelsea, the club immediately loaned him out to Dutch club NAC Breda. He opted for NAC Breda because Nebojsa Gudelj is the coach at the club, who can speak with him. At NAC Breda he had a great start. In his first game, coming on as a substitute against Roda JC he scored his first in a 1-5 victory. A few weeks later he scored in his fourth appearance the winning goal against Heracles Almelo (2-1).[2] He became a fan favourite after just a few matches where he would come off the bench late in games and score despite playing limited minutes. His loan deal was extended for another season.
