马塔周记：大家新年要快乐健康

嗨小伙伴们大家好，
Hi everyone,
首先，新年快乐！这貌似是我第一次在1月1号发布周记。我记得去年的时候是在跨年夜这么做的，但不是在新年的第一天。我祝愿你们拥有美妙的一年，快乐幸福。我现在在赛前下榻的酒店里写这篇周记，我们用一种与众不同的方式度过跨年夜。正如往年一样，我们不得不在酒店里度过这一天，任何比赛前一天都是这种传统。你们也知道的，西班牙的习俗是在新年午夜吃12颗葡萄，每一次钟声响起吃一颗。虽然我已经来到英格兰多年，我还是保持了这个习惯。不过我不是一个人这么做的，德赫亚、埃雷拉和埃米利奥-阿尔瓦雷斯都来到了我的房间，用这种方式庆祝新年。大厨麦克早就为“西班牙帮”准备好了葡萄，他太棒了。我们吃完葡萄后就去睡觉了，因为显然我们要用客战埃弗顿的这一场复杂比赛开启这一年。
First of all, Happy New Year! I think this is the first time that I post this on a 1st of January. I remember doing it on the last day of the year but not the first one. I wish you all a fantastic year and a lot of happiness. I’m writing this from our pre-game hotel, where we are spending New Year’s Eve in a different way. As we did other years, we have to spend this day in a hotel just before a game and the routine has been the same as in any other game. As you know, the tradition in Spain is to eat 12 grapes at midnight, one with each bell strike. I keep doing that, even if I’ve been in England for quite a few years now. Well, I didn’t do it only myself: David, Ander and Emilio Alvarez joined me in my room to celebrate it our way. Mike, the chef, had the grapes ready for the ‘Spanish clan’, he’s great. We ate the grapes and off to sleep, obviously, because we start the year with a complicated game at Everton.
我知道对于曼联球迷来说，这个圣诞季过得不是特别顺心。三连平不是结束2017年的最佳方式，我们也知道这一点。我们必须要重回胜利轨道，那就是我们2018年的首个愿望，希望这一年比2017年更好。在最近几场比赛后，我们明白球迷的沮丧之情，因为我们感同身受。但是提高成绩的方式就是所有人团结一心。之后也许我们能赢，也许不能，但我们的责任就是在球场上付出一切，那也是我们要做到的事。
I know that so far the Christmas season hasn’t been particularly good for the Manchester United supporters. Three consecutive ties are not the best way to close 2017, and we know it. We must go back to the winning track and that’s our first wish for 2018, a year that we hope it’s even better than 2017. We understand the frustration of the fans after our last results, since we share the same feeling. But the only way to improve those scores is to carry on all together. Then, we may win or not, but our duty is to give everything on the pitch and that’s what we are going to do.
卢卡库在对阵南安普顿的比赛中头部受伤，因此与埃弗顿一战中，他不会出席。他现在感觉好多了，希望他能尽快回归。这也提醒了我对你们所有人最主要的新年愿望：健康。
We won’t have Romelu against Everton after suffering a head injury against Southampton. He’s feeling well and I hope that he can be back with the team soon. Which reminds me of my main wish for all of you in the new year: health.
